The Monroe Township Planning Board completed its annual reorganization at a public meeting on Jan. 22, 2026, electing Mark Gaffrey as chair and David Rothman as vice chairman and approving appointments to the board’s professional roster.
Board members nominated and voted to confirm Peter Vignolo as planning board attorney and Mark Raza Moch as board engineer. Chris Dochnie was confirmed as planner and Laura Zalewski as planning board secretary. The board voted to adopt its rules and regulations and the 2026 meeting calendar.
Votes on routine items were recorded by roll call. The minutes presented for approval were accepted with several members recorded as abstaining. The reorganization and administrative approvals clear the way for the board to take up its two agenda applications for the evening.
The board adjourned routine business and proceeded to consider site-plan and subdivision applications on the published agenda.
