The Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Insurance favored Senate Bill 410 after a brief staff explanation. Eileen summarized the bill as one that would "clarify an internal citation to the Kansas Financial Institutions Information Security Act" and would add "earned wage access service registrants to the list of entities to which the act applies."
Committee members had no additional questions; Senator Goss moved the bill out favorably and Senator Rose seconded. The committee approved the bill by voice vote and recommended it for passage.
No amendment was offered during today’s consideration and the transcript records no roll-call vote.
