Wellington receives Bicycle Friendly Community Bronze designation from League of American Bicyclists

The League noted that Florida has 22 designated bicycle friendly communities and that Wellington’s designation places it among communities pursuing higher (silver, gold) recognition.
The council recognized a local business, formerly Wheels of Wellington now CycleFit, for its role supporting bicycling programs and community rides. Council members thanked staff and advocates and said they will continue pursuing improvements that could lead to a higher award level in future years.
