At the Dec. 8 meeting the housing rehabilitation team summarized completed work for 2025 and previewed programming for 2026. Staff explained the table on the front page of their report — columns for 2025 units and dollars versus cumulative totals — and said completed units under current grants and total spending are tracked in the packet.
The staff member reported ongoing satellite office activity at the center and upcoming coordination with the health department on partnership and planning for 2026. Lead-training classes (RRP) ran successfully and two new contractors have scheduled supervisor classes and indicated interest in bidding on lead jobs.
On county funding, staff said the final agreement for a shared Whole Home fund has been delayed until the new year; the authority submitted four candidate projects for consideration from its existing applicant pool. Staff noted Whole Home project awards can be as large as $70,000 and that county approval determines which projects will be funded.
Staff closed by saying their 2026 project forecast is ambitious but achievable and invited questions; board members asked for updates as agreements progress. No formal action was taken on these program reports.
