The council opened and closed a public hearing on the fiscal year 2024–25 budget reopening and then voted to adopt Ordinance 24-50, a regular quarterly budget amendment. The item passed by roll-call vote; the members present voted to approve the ordinance unanimously.
Council also moved through a consent agenda that included a Visit Salt Lake grant for improvements to fields at Centennial Park, an award to Nivo Sports LLC for replacement softball scoreboards, a cooperative agreement with the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands to treat Phragmites along the Jordan River, several right-of-way purchases and easements, and the appointment of Rob Durfee to the West Valley City Planning Commission.
