Senior commission approves prior minutes, reviews work plan and upcoming events

Manager Mickelson reported operational statistics for January 2026: 430 senior meals served, 124 one‑way rides provided, and 1,173 total registered participants for community center activities. Manager Goodsell reviewed upcoming dates including the Live Boldly Live Well Senior Lifestyle Expo on Feb. 21, a commission workshop on the Brown Act on Feb. 26, spring camp registration and Arbor Day/Art Night events on April 18. SDSU consultants are preparing a comprehensive Age‑Friendly report that staff will review before presenting to council.
No new motions beyond the minutes approvals were recorded; several informational items and future follow‑ups were noted for inclusion in the work‑plan packet to be presented to city council.
