Mohave County public works staff reported on Feb. 17 that the Davis Camp dock and launch ramp ARPA project reached substantial completion ahead of schedule and under budget, with total project costs reported at $460,554.
Director Letovsky and project staff credited Lewis Construction and county construction inspector Steve Walker for staying on schedule and coordinating dredging and prefabricated dock lead times. The project included a reconstructed walkway, new utility poles and a prefabricated floating dock and launch ramp; staff said the floating dock design may be informative for future South Cove improvements, where water levels vary seasonally.
Supervisor Martin asked for project documents to take to an upcoming meeting with Lake Mead partners and staff agreed to provide design and performance information that afternoon.
