Residents raise concerns about county finance reports; board approves appropriations and accounts after staff corrections

Moten asked whether the finance/audit committee had thoroughly reviewed transfers and called for clearer presentation of delinquencies and liens.
Board members reacted to the concerns and asked staff to reformat documents for easier review. County staff said corrected and reformatted files (including fuel report, expenditure report and AP report) had been sent to the board and would be published with the agenda and minutes.
The board voted to approve appropriations and transfers as presented (motion carried by roll call). Later, when voting on approval of accounts, roll call produced Aye votes from Supervisors Henry, Jamieson and Stanmeyer and a No vote from Cullors; the motion nevertheless passed.
Supervisors agreed to carve additional time into the next finance/audit committee meeting to review the documents and asked staff to ensure corrected files are available online.
