William, the property owner, presented the proposal for a new outbuilding behind the house and said the new building will be smaller than the removed structure and will occupy a similar footprint. He told the board he initially considered vertical metal siding but opted to match the house's white and brick finishes to keep the new outbuilding consistent with the existing residence. "The new building is smaller," William said.
Board members described the application as straightforward and moved to approve. A member said the plan appeared to match the house and posed no obvious issues; the motion to approve was seconded and carried with a unanimous "Aye" vote.
The approval authorizes the accessory structure design as presented; applicants should follow permit and building-department processes for any required permits.
