Zoning board grants rehearing for proposed Roby Park disc golf work in critical wetland buffer

The Nashua Zoning Board of Adjustment granted a rehearing request on Aug. 13 for a previously approved project at Roby Park after staff reported that notification to several abutters was not properly advertised.
The rehearing concerns a special-exemption application approved June 25 to allow tree and brush removal, installation of nine wooden pedestrian bridges, tee pads, directional signage, wetland markers and trash receptacles as part of an 18-hole disc golf course inside a critical wetland buffer. Staff told the board the missed notices warranted a rehearing so affected neighbors can comment; the board voted 4–0 to grant the rehearing.
Board members said the rehearing will be re-advertised and abutters will receive notice when the item returns to the agenda.
