The Highland Park Plan and Design Commission on Feb. 17, 2026, voted to continue a public hearing on Planned Unit Development application PUD 20-2500081 for 147 Central Avenue to April 7 at 7 p.m. in the City Hall council chamber.
The continuance was requested by the petitioner to coordinate the schedule with the Historic Preservation Commission’s March review. A petitioner representative told the commission, “The petitioner request a continuance specifically to the April 7 plan and design commission meeting, and then that also aligns. So that's after the his Historic Preservation Commission in March.”
Commissioner Fenton moved to continue the matter and Vice Chair Mannis seconded. Staff confirmed that notice of the continuance is adequate. The chair called for the voice vote; the motion passed and staff recorded that the item is continued to the April 7 meeting.
No public comment was offered at the Feb. 17 meeting on the PUD. The continuance means the commission will take up PUD 20-2500081 again after the petitioner’s appearance before the Historic Preservation Commission.
