Treasurer’s report showed January revenue at about one-third of the fiscal-year budget and January expenditures at roughly 7.4% of the budget; staff explained timing issues (earned income tax receipts and real-estate tax bill mailing schedules) that affect early-year revenue recognition. Pension-plan market value increased in January 2026.
A councilor reported on the community pool committee’s first meeting (Feb. 11). Committee members and community volunteers have offered in-kind or reduced-cost services for condition testing, mechanical inspections and concrete work. The committee’s near-term focus is assessing whether the existing pool can be made safe for short-term use while longer-term fundraising and replacement planning proceeds.
Councilors agreed to continue committee work and scheduled future updates; no appropriation or binding decision on pool replacement was made at the meeting.
