Other recommended changes include instituting a rental deposit system, adding an optional facility attendant fee (subject to staffing availability), consolidating special‑event fees, and shifting any threshold‑based price breaks to a participant/attendee threshold (150+ participants) rather than an arbitrary 4‑hour threshold. Staff said the recommendations would slightly reduce fees for residents without sacrificing service and emphasized that attendant availability depends on staffing.
Council member (speaker 2) moved to adopt Resolution 24‑31 listing the field rental rates; the motion passed 4–0 on roll‑call. Staff will implement the new rate schedule and the town will track deposits and requests going forward.
