Staff said the revised plan proposes an 80-foot riprap revetment — 8 feet high and 16 feet at the base — to connect to existing riprap on the neighboring parcel. Agent Ashley Scanlon told the board she has signatures from adjoining property owners and that the work is intended primarily to protect the applicant’s upland improvements while also benefiting a co-applicant. She said there will be no groins in the revised submission.
Board members discussed plan completeness and requested the applicant specify the stone-class and side-view details in the revised submission. The board approved the project on a three‑year permit and reminded the homeowner to wait 10 days before beginning construction to allow for the appeal period. Staff noted that the applicant must still complete any applicable permitting steps before construction.
