Cartwright estimated a soft completion by mid‑March and offered to provide weekly Friday status updates while auditors work through outstanding items (controls, fixed assets, cash, revenue, expenditures, pension and long‑term debt). She also said she had no final update on the East Point Conventions & Visitors Bureau unit determination from the state and planned to coordinate with the audit firm on that issue.
Councilmember Martin Rogers asked for soft dates and the director committed to mid‑March as an estimate and to frequent updates.
