At the June 24 meeting the Lincoln Heights Council voted unanimously to appoint Karen Hingston to the Charter Revision Committee (Resolution 2024-R-56) and Gary Brown to the Recreation Commission (Resolution 2024-R-57). Both resolutions passed by roll call with six ayes, and the council adopted emergency clauses to allow immediate effect.
Karen Hingston and Gary Brown were thanked by the mayor and council for accepting the volunteer roles. The appointments were moved, seconded and passed in sequence during the supplemental agenda portion of the meeting.
