North Penn parents’ group rebrands as Partners and Engagement to broaden family engagement

Pam said the group meets roughly every other month for 90‑minute sessions that combine brief community building activities and structured sharing so members can take ideas back to individual schools.
Speakers said the group circulates monthly resources highlighting recognition months and celebrations — for example, Black History Month, Lunar New Year and Ramadan — and is building a hub to centralize school‑level ideas, assemblies and shared materials.
Dr. Waters and Pam emphasized the group’s continuity with earlier efforts and its mission to increase family engagement and belonging. The committee praised the work and noted it supports district goals to strengthen connections among families and schools.
