Chair read Item 2 (Legistar 91406) relating to properties at 969–979 N. Fair Oaks Ave in Alder District 12 — an alteration to approved conditional uses in the Commercial Corridor Transitional (CCT) district to allow alternative screening along the boundary adjacent to residential properties. The Chair also read Item 4 (Legistar 91866) relating to 121 N. Butler St in Alder District 2 — an alteration to an approved conditional use in the Downtown Residential‑2 (DR‑2) district for a multifamily building greater than eight units to allow an alternative material palette for an approved five‑story, 73‑unit apartment building. The commission opened and closed the public hearing for the consent items and, seeing no objections, approved both items unanimously.
The commission then took up Item 5 (Legistar 91293) relating to 111 N. Walter St — a conditional use in the Traditional Residential Varied‑2 (TRV‑2) district for a residential complex with two six‑unit townhouse buildings and a shared storage building — and voted to defer the public hearing to the April 27 Plan Commission meeting by unanimous consent.
All consent approvals and the referral were recorded as unanimous with no objections noted on the record. The approvals were granted subject to the standard recommended conditions from reviewing agencies.
