County Engineer Mike Panuske told the commissioners the proposed CIP totals $68,600,000 over 2026–2031, with $13,900,000 budgeted for road projects in 2026. He also described final plats and escrow‑in‑lieu‑of‑bond agreements for Maumee Western Estates (13 lots), Stony Creek Plat 5 (49 lots) and Stonegate Plat 8 (19 lots) in Monclova Township, and a ditch‑maintenance petition for Maumee Western Estates tied to stormwater best‑management practices required by the MS4 permit. "It's a requirement of our MS4 permit to have that petition in place to perform maintenance if the property owners fail to do so," Panuske said.
Panuske said the board also approved change order No. 1 and final closeout with G6 Infrastructure LLC on the Bench Hanger Bin Ditch two‑stage restoration project. He said the project received an Ohio EPA grant and that an additional $157,000 was added because the contractor's bid was low and extra footage was required to use the grant, bringing the contract total to $953,000.
Commissioner Gerken moved approval of the county engineer items. The clerk called the roll; Commissioners Gerken, Lopez and Sabecki registered yes votes and the motion carried.
The approved measures authorize staff to proceed with the listed plats, maintenance petition and the restoration contract closeout. The board did not record any amendments to the items during the discussion.
