Angie told the committee the company is currently operating under a temporary location and that Nancy had spoken with Skydine’s attorney. "They, they have to do, give us a new plan that has a new map and then show us how they're gonna provide security throughout the airport before we can move forward," Angie said.
Staff noted Skydine told them the final license was not required until the company is fully open; Angie reported Skydine indicated an anticipated opening in 2027. Committee members described the prior meeting as productive and said law enforcement attended to discuss security concerns.
What happens next: staff are awaiting Skydine’s revised floor plan and security plan before placing the item back on the agenda.
