Williams County commissioners approve routine business, authorize $2,750 EMS app contract and enter executive session on sheriff negotiations

Williams County commissioners met in a regularly scheduled session and carried a series of routine motions, approved a small procurement for emergency medical services software and voted to move into executive-session business related to sheriff contract negotiations.

The board approved minutes from Jan. 27 and accepted the meeting agenda as amended to add an executive-session discussion of collective bargaining. Speaker 3 introduced the agenda and Speaker 1 moved the amendment; the motion carried on roll call. The panel also approved payment of bills and several budget transfers on behalf of the board of elections and the prosecutor’s office; one roll-call exchange recorded a dissenting "No" vote in the transfer sequence.
