At the Feb. 18 meeting the Laconia Police Commission voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the prior meeting and to approve three out‑of‑state training requests.
A motion to accept the previous meeting minutes was moved and seconded; the chair announced the motion was made by Commissioner Romelu and seconded by Commissioner Davis and the motion passed unanimously.
Chief Canfield presented three out‑of‑state travel requests: sending Officer Tyler Rouse to a Taser Master Instructor School in New York (tuition reportedly to be waived; meals estimated at about $500), attendance by the chief at an FBI Academy retrainer in Ontario, and sending accreditation manager Robin Moyer to the CALEA conference in Tucson. A commissioner moved to accept the requests and the motion, noted as made by Commissioner Davis and seconded by Commissioner Mello, passed unanimously.
The commission also moved and seconded to adjourn; the adjournment motion passed unanimously at 2:25 p.m.
