Among the votes, the council adopted Resolution 2025-01-48 to award up to $8,000 to the city of Fairview Park for a trifold stop sign project designed for traffic control during power outages; Resolution 2025-01-49 to award up to $32,500 to the Cleveland Foundry for camp scholarships; and Resolution 2025-01-50 to award up to $190,000 to Western Reserve Land Conservancy to acquire approximately 11.5 acres at the French Creek headwaters to protect wetlands and vernal pools. Sponsors described the land as ecologically sensitive and part of a preservation corridor.
