The commission also approved a highway department budget amendment to restock highway salt after a major storm and an amendment accepting a Football Booster Club donation to pay overtime for school resource officers at a local event.
The commission accepted a state-funded sheriff’s department training and equipment grant described as 100% state-funded. Roll-call votes were read for each item; several items were recorded as passing 21 to 0.
