Items approved as read included adoption of the June 4 minutes; a $159,617 professional services agreement with Our Group Incorporated for design work on the Northeast Water Street water line replacement; a resolution directing that AEP Texas Incorporated’s requested electric rate increases within city limits be denied; annual software maintenance with CentralSquare Technologies in the amount of $209,848.44; change order number 7 to the De Leon Plaza Expansion Project with Logger Companies Inc. for $109,535.85 (bringing that contract to $5,653,912); purchase of a Mog's 50 oxygen compression system from Novair for $75,323; and award of the 2024 Emerald Hills sanitary sewer line rehabilitation project to Tigrey Utility Ames LLC for $136,450.
A councilmember moved to approve the consent agenda as read; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote with "aye" and no opposition.
