Board schedules March public hearing on HRR Enterprises waiver-of-compliance

Program administrator (S3) notified the Porter Baron board that HRR Enterprises, an affiliate of KT Soap, submitted a waiver-of-compliance request for '23 pay '24. S3 said the item arrived by email the day before the meeting and proposed the board place it on the March agenda for a public hearing similar to the prior KT Soap waiver.
Board members asked why HRR did not submit the request with the previous KT Soap filing; S3 suggested the association’s new CFO is reviewing records and uncovering additional issues. The board asked staff to request an explanation from HRR Enterprises explaining the delay and to include company accounting information ahead of the March hearing. S3 said the auditor’s office and Brian Shook would be notified as part of the process.
