During the minutes discussion a member asked for clarification regarding zoning hearing board protocol: that the planning commission must attend hearings or send a recommendation letter to the zoning hearing board solicitor, and that such a letter is not delivered to individual board members. Following that clarification a commissioner moved to approve the minutes as corrected and the motion carried.
Later in the meeting commissioners reviewed the planning commission activity report, discussed the municipal code requirement that the chair submit an annual report to the governing body by March, and agreed to pass the activity report to borough staff (Paula) so it can be added to the council workshop packet for first‑Tuesday review.
