WOODBURY COUNTY, Iowa — The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday received a summary of maximum levy scenarios for fiscal 2027 and approved the county library’s FY27 budget after the library board agreed to apply part of its reserve to lower local contributions.
County finance director Ryan presented levy-rate options showing the countywide levy under a maximum-levy scenario at about 7.301. He told supervisors that under the max-levy example the general basic rate would be 3.70602 and the general supplemental rate would rise from 2.41826 to about 2.78968 while the debt service levy would decline to about 0.8053.
