Board unanimously approves suggested federal legislative priorities

At the end of the Feb. 18 work session, the Thurston County board voted to approve a summary of suggested federal legislative priorities.
A commissioner moved to approve the recommendations and the motion passed unanimously in open session. Commissioners said the approved list will guide upcoming meetings with federal legislators and directed staff to share the priorities with the county legislative team.
No amendments to the list were made during the vote and staff were instructed to proceed with the stated requests to federal partners.
