Erie County MPO TAC reappoints chair, elects Leanne Harmon as vice chair for 2026

The Erie County Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical Advisory Committee re‑appointed its current chair and elected Leanne Harmon as vice chair for 2026 during its first meeting of the year.
Chair Matt Waldinger, director of planning and development for Oak Creek Township, opened nominations and closed them when no additional names were offered. "All in favor of me continuing as chair, please say aye," Waldinger asked; members responded in the affirmative and the chair remained in place by voice vote. Waldinger nominated Leanne Harmon for vice chair; that nomination also carried by voice vote.
Committee members subsequently reviewed the draft minutes of the Nov. 12, 2025 TAC meeting prepared by office manager Nancy Blittman. A motion to approve the minutes was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The elections and minutes approval were procedural actions taken at the start of the meeting; no contested nominations or roll‑call tallies were recorded on the transcript. The TAC’s next coordinating committee meeting is scheduled for March 11 at Summit Township.
