The commission agreed on a bimonthly cadence (videos per meeting), with the option for any commissioner or member of the public to pull a consent item for separate discussion. Commissioners emphasized that selections should be vetted for currency—some sheriff content on the web is older and procedures can change—and that staff must confirm procedural accuracy before reposting.
A motion to adopt the process was made and carried without opposition. Commissioners discussed operational details—who will prescreen videos, how they will be linked on agendas, and whether the sheriff’s social-media content can be repurposed—and asked Alex Dominguez and staff to coordinate practical steps and return with an implementation plan.
The meeting then moved to commissioners'roundtable items and adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
