Cotati Police Advisory Committee elects Jane as chair and reassigns Jarrett as vice chair

The Cotati Police Advisory Committee conducted internal elections at the start of its meeting and recorded unanimous roll-call votes to install new officers.
Committee member 7 nominated Jane for the position of chair, the nomination was seconded, and the committee voted in favor with recorded "yes" responses from Committee members Richardson, Cosbrook, Williams, Vice Chair Lawton and Chair Jarrett. "Let it be noted that Jane will serve as our next chair," the clerk announced after the tally.
A separate motion to select a vice chair was moved and seconded; the committee again voted unanimously, and the clerk recorded that the nominee will serve as vice chair. The minutes from the Nov. 19 meeting were approved by motion and roll-call vote during the same portion of the agenda.
Committee members noted procedural items related to the handover of duties and swapping of meeting materials; the meeting then proceeded to public comment and the chiefs annual report.
