Temple Terrace City Council adopted a resolution recognizing the contributions of the Centennial Committee and formally dissolved the committee after its work concluded.
Mayor Andrew Ross recounted the committee’s achievements: formed on Nov. 2, 2021, the five‑member volunteer group organized 21 events, created five centennial murals and compiled a commemorative book. The chair (Nancy Hudson) and committee members were thanked by the mayor and council; the committee plans to donate copies of the commemorative book to libraries and sell copies at the Family Recreation Center.
Committee members thanked staff liaisons and the council for support and said the book and mural collage will be presented to the city for display. Council moved and unanimously passed the resolution recognizing the committee and providing for its dissolution.
Mayor and council praised volunteers’ time and expertise and invited photographs to mark the occasion.
