At its Feb. 18 meeting the Laguna Woods City Council received and filed the monthly treasurer’s report and a quarterly financial report as of Dec. 31, 2025.
Staff reported total cash and investments of approximately $14.7 million across all funds, with roughly $7 million in the general fund and $4.65 million held in council‑established reserves. Pooled investments included LEIF (~$3.9 million) and CAMP (~$3.7 million); certificates of deposit accounted for about $6.3 million. Staff noted transfers made following a large property‑tax installment, routine interest income totals, and that all American Rescue Plan Act funds in special revenue accounts have been recognized and spent.
After a brief public comment period, a councilmember moved to receive and file the reports; the motion passed. The council then approved the consent calendar by voice vote, with no items removed for separate consideration.
