Public Works Director Josh Morrow told the board that three firms satisfied the city's prequalification requirements and recommended they be approved to bid on 2026 construction projects.
Morrow read the list of recommended contractors from the packet as Dairyland Grading (Stanley), Earth Incorporated (Arpen) and "Hazen Hazen's" (Thorpe). He said contractors submitted information on financials, scheduling, past references and availability and that the three that submitted met the prequalification deadline and requirements.
A board member moved to approve the listed prequalified contractors, a second was recorded and the board voted by voice to approve the recommendation.
The record lists the firms as read in the staff packet; spelling and agency locations are reported as in the presentation materials.
