The Vineland City Council on Feb. 10 adopted Ordinance 2025-94, authorizing execution of a contract of sale and other documents necessary for a joint acquisition with the CCIA of vacant land for development of a youth sports facility.
After the council opened and continued a public hearing on the measure and heard no public testimony for that ordinance, members moved to close the hearing, proceed to final reading and adopt the ordinance. The clerk recorded the adoption as "a vote of 5 yeas." The council directed staff to submit Ordinance 2025-94 to the mayor for approval or disapproval.
No financial details beyond the ordinance title and joint acquisition purpose were discussed at the Feb. 10 meeting; council members said the ordinance had been reviewed in prior work sessions and no additional debate was recorded.
