The board also introduced 10 valedictorians from across GGUSD high schools and showed a short video of their remarks. Dr. Stephanie Heflin said the valedictorians have an average GPA of 4.46 and had taken a combined 103 Advanced Placement classes. Individual students announced their post‑graduation plans on video, including Andrew Huynh (Johns Hopkins University), Hung Nguyen (UCLA), Alexander Lozano (Stanford University) and others who plan to attend a mix of public universities and community colleges.
