Several administrative or technical bills were also advanced, including bills making permanent prior Administrative Procedure Act changes (SB 6009) and clarifying how urban growth-area land swaps treat critical aquifer recharge areas (SB 6016).
Most motions were handled by sponsors offering a short explanation of the bill’s purpose followed by a voice vote that the president characterized as carrying. The committee adjourned after the last motions were carried.
