Board approves track resurfacing and Melrose electrical upgrade, OKs student trips and consent items

The treasurer’s and superintendent’s consent agendas — covering resignations and retirements, new hires and MOUs for CCP programs — were approved by roll-call votes.
Trustees recorded votes on then-and-now certificates related to tuition for a resident student at a multi-county juvenile attention system and a salt purchase from the city. The robotics team’s overnight/state tournament travel was noted as being paid for by the club’s funds.
The actions were presented as routine business required to maintain operations and student opportunities; several trustees noted consortium purchasing and cooperative pricing as additional oversight for capital work.
