Trustees asked for a short report covering successes, challenges and planned goals; one trustee suggested a two‑page summary that would include incidents, role clarity, student perspective and whether contracts require any revisions on investigations or student‑records handling. Staff agreed to work with both city partners and return with a city‑by‑city data breakdown and a program brief.
The board voted to renew the Newport Beach agreement and directed staff to develop standardized expectations, data reporting and training practices across the district’s SRO partnerships.
