House Unanimously Adopts Measure Setting Judicial Election Day

"This simply says that we will have judicial elections on the March," Representative Jordan said during floor explanation. With no questions raised, the Speaker ordered a roll call and the Clerk tabulated the unanimous vote in favor of the bill.
The action removes recurring procedural work by making the judicial-election day a statutory date rather than an item that must be set by separate resolution every term. The House recorded the second-reading vote and moved the bill forward according to its calendar procedures.
