House adopts resolution recognizing history of Chinese American exclusion; routine referrals and adjournment follow

The House adopted "house resolution 46 81 recognizing the importance of reflecting on the history of Chinese American exclusion," the presiding officer announced during a brief, procedural session. The adoption was completed by unanimous consent after the presiding officer said, "Hearing no objection, so ordered."

The action came amid routine procedural business. The clerk read a message from the Senate identifying passed measures described in the chamber as "Senate Bill number 51 77" and "Substitute Senate Bill number 57 20," and Colleen Bridal identified herself as "deputy secretary" during the reading.
