Board members asked how the planning board would handle technical inspections (electrical, plumbing) in conflict cases and were told those matters would be worked out if they arise, just as they would be under the current structure.
The board moved and seconded language to send the amendment to the planning board for public hearings and requested that the planning board expedite the process so the measure could be considered at the June town meeting; the board voted unanimously to send the amendment forward.
