Mayor and council honor Meow Wolf’s fifth anniversary and Southern Nevada Senior Law Program

The council opened the meeting with a ceremonial segment that included recognition of city staff and community organizations. Anthony Lambert of the city's SmartLab program was named employee of the month; SmartLab's in‑house metrics, cited by the mayor, include training more than 460 employees, completing 58 improvement projects and documenting $105,000 in savings.
Councilwoman Kara Kelly presented a proclamation recognizing the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program for its decades of service to residents 60 and older; Executive Director Diane Farren noted program growth and increased demand among seniors.
The council also marked the fifth anniversary of Meow Wolf's Omega Mart attraction at Area15. A Meow Wolf representative said the interactive exhibition has welcomed millions of visitors since opening on 02/18/2021 and thanked the city for support.
