Sandy Springs planning commission reelected Reid Haggard as chair and Andy Porter as vice chair

The Sandy Springs Planning Commission voted Feb. 18 to reelect Reid Haggard as chair and Andy Porter as vice chair.
Commissioner (Miss) Stroudridge moved to "reelect chair Reid Haggard to, be chair again and vice chair Andy Porter," and Commissioner Steven Leeds seconded the motion. The commission approved the slate by voice vote with no discussion or competing nominations.
Chair Haggard thanked members and staff. Earlier in the meeting he had also welcomed newly seated Commissioner Steven Leeds. Commissioners additionally recognized Andrea Settles for her service as she departs the commission; the chair noted her contributions during a brief recognition before adjourning.
The election was procedural and will remain in effect until the commission’s next scheduled leadership selection or until commissioners choose otherwise.
