The Weld County Board of County Commissioners approved awarding bid B250147 to Cramer North America LLC for construction of a roundabout at Weld County Roads 54 and 13.
Toby Taylor, purchasing, told the board that Public Works used a best‑value procurement and that Cramer achieved the highest score in both proposal evaluation and interview. Taylor said the recommended award amount is $14,916,360.60 and that the project includes federal funding administered through the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
Commissioners moved and seconded the recommendation and approved the contract by voice vote. No roll‑call tally was recorded in the transcript beyond the board’s voice approval.
The county’s public‑works presentation stated the project is programmed to proceed with CDOT concurrence. No construction start date was given at the meeting; Public Works said the federal funding portion had been reviewed and concurred with prior to the recommendation.
The board’s approval authorizes staff to proceed with contract award to the recommended contractor. The item was presented as bid B250147 in the consent of bids portion of the agenda.
