Brentwood — The Select Board completed several procedural actions Tuesday evening, including payroll and several routine approvals and a funding appropriation for building maintenance.
The board approved the payroll register by motion and voice vote. The payroll package included payroll of $39,877, payroll taxes of $9,218 and $1,213 drawn from the ambulance fund; accounts payable totaled $121,144 with additional noted payments including $550,000 to Swayze and $681,343 to the coop (items read into the record by the chair).
The board approved the consent agenda by motion and voice vote after tabling the non-public minutes for separate review. Later, the public hearing on the citizen petition to adopt SB 2 was closed by motion and unanimous voice vote.
The board also approved a motion to use $5,000 from the building maintenance capital reserve fund to pay snow removal costs for the town and library roofs (motion made, seconded and approved by voice vote). The meeting concluded with routine committee updates and public comment.
