Committee recommends rezoning near Microsoft to Business Park
Summary

The committee recommended sending to the full council a rezoning that would convert an agricultural holding parcel southeast of South Greeley Highway and East Escheya Lane into BP (Business Park), expanding the nearby Bison Business Park.
Connor White of planning said the parcel sits just west of the Microsoft facility and that a portion of the broader business park was rezoned last year; the current rezoning would bring this parcel into consistency with adjacent BP zoning to allow commercial redevelopment. Agent Bridal Emmons said a company intends to move onto the site and commended the governing body and staff for updates to community facility-fee rules that should speed future applications.
Planning commission recommended approval and the committee forwarded the item to the full council for final action.
