County communications reports record transit ridership, names new CFO

Committee members asked whether the county’s rural transit route has seen similar gains; communications staff said utilization appears to have improved, that more volunteer drivers have helped operations and that staff will return with more detailed ridership numbers and a summary from the most recent transit committee meeting.
The committee did not take formal action on the communication items.
