Board accepts The Bluffs at Youngs Creek Section 5B secondary plat; 48 lots cleared to record

Planning Director Joanna Tennell reported The Bluffs at Youngs Creek Section 5B (48 lots) is ready for recording pending a release letter from Indiana American Water; the board approved acceptance and execution of the secondary plat.
The Franklin City Board of Public Works and Safety approved acceptance and execution of the secondary plat for The Bluffs at Youngs Creek Section 5B at its Feb. 18 meeting.
Planning Director Joanna Tennell told the board the section contains 48 lots and is ready for acceptance and recording; the developer must obtain a release letter from Indiana American Water before building permits can be issued. Tennell said Section 6 of the development remains under construction.
A board member moved and the motion was seconded to accept the secondary plat; the board approved the motion by voice vote. Staff said once the plat is recorded and the water-company release letter is provided, the developer will be able to begin pulling building permits.
Next steps: Recordation of the plat and submission of the required release from Indiana American Water; permit applications will follow once the conditions are met.
